Tom Wilkinson joined the board as an independent director and chair of the audit committee on May 21, 2019. He became interim CEO on July 29, 2019. He brings C-level executive and public accountancy experience to Cipherloc, including time as both CFO and CEO of a Nasdaq listed company. He owns Wilkinson & Company, a financial and business consulting firm focused on emerging growth pre-IPO and public companies. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Xplore Technologies until the sale of the company to Zebra Technologies in 2018, resulting in a superior return to the investors. Prior to becoming the CEO, Mr. Wilkinson served as the company's Chief Financial Officer, leading a successful operational turnaround and driving the business to profitability. He is also an experienced audit partner at a public accountancy firm he founded and grew to seven offices and served as CFO of Amherst Holdings, a privately held corporation. Mr. Wilkinson currently serves on the board of Astrotech (ASTC) and is a CPA in the State of Texas.
Albert Carlson, PhD., is the Chief Scientist and Software Engineer. Dr. Carlson is instrumental in the research and on-going development of CipherLoc™ and is considered to be one of the top cyber security experts in the industry.
Dr. Carlson teaches, has experience in and specializes in computer science, information theory, ciphers, cryptography, set theory, tactical and strategic electronic warfare, wireless communications, networking, control systems, communications electronics, commercial telecommunications and military telecommunications. He, also, has practical experience as a research mathematician, project engineer, engineering team leader, field application engineer, research engineer, manufacturing engineer and computer hardware and software consulting engineer and was an electronic warfare and crypto officer in the military. He has worked for such corporations as Northrop, Validus Technologies, Zenith Electronics and others.
He has published papers and text books on cryptography and set theory, is a WECC (Western Electricity Coordinating Council) certified auditor and is considered to be an expert in the field of cryptography. Dr. Carlson, also, has authored books on Electrical Utility Security, holds patents and copyrights and is a member of several professional and scholarly organizations such as the Association of Computing Machines, IEEE, AOC (Association of Old Crows – Electronic Warfare), Golden Key and others.
He received his PhD. in Computer Science, focused on digital ciphers and decryption, from the University of Idaho in May of 2012.
Dr. Milton Mattox is an experienced, senior technology executive with an extensive background in software engineering, application development, IT infrastructure and team management. This includes a proven track record of transforming and accelerating technology development and delivery in alignment with the goals of global businesses. His professional experience includes an executive vice president position at Lucent Technologies with executive level experience at Intuit, Mitel, SHPS, Narus, India, Cigna, and CGI.
Dr. Mattox holds a Doctorate in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco, an M.B.A from City University of Seattle, a Bachelor of Science, Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry University and a Global Leadership Certification Program, Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Mr. Mauriello is a Certified Public Accountant and has run his own CPA firm since 2003, concentrating on tax and audit work for individuals and corporations. He previously served as a Director and CFO for Cipherloc during 2016 and 2017. He is currently Cipherloc’s controller, managing accounting entry and working with the outside auditors in preparing statements. He is a 1999 graduate in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
